Unfortunately, Mexican food was not the best but good try in the middle of winter. Beans were not fresh but what do you expect in dead winter. They tried and not easy in Michigan. BIG CLUE, not good if they charge for chips and salsa. Real Mexican never charge for their chips and salsa like paying for salt and pepper.
There has been alot of negitive comments posted that are NOT TRUE about this business, the food is terrific and the staff is very helpfull and polite,the cook is not a pervert he is very generous and nice..... The place is not a dirty place and has passed the inspections from the department of health and has passed with no follow ups every year sence the new owner has taken over. if you are in the area of gladwin stop in and see for yourself the coustomers do not complain and come back to eat weekly now if that dose not say ... read more
Please ladies do not go here the cook is such a pervert. This place looks like a strip club with all the waitresses fooling around with the old man that cooks, it's sick. I would rather drive 35 min. To sanford and go to Elvira's there and it's cheaper and the food is good, oh and no stripers in sanford.
I was so disapointed the place was so dirty i was affraid of eating my food. The mens bathroom was very dirty and smelled horrible, the tables were dirty and had dirty dishes on top. The food was ok but too expensive and after seeing how dirty everything was i didnt enjoy my meal. And the food took forever because only the owner is working in the kitchen and i know this cause he came out himself and told me about it. The service was good but not a clean place
I went there last week like at 3:00 pm the bathrooms were dirty there was toilet paper everywere the sink was black in durt the tables were dirty i asked for fajitas and they were horrible the portion was so small for $11.00 i payed the owner went and took it out he was nice but his cooking is not friendly the fajitas didnt have any flavor and he asked me if they were good and told me he made them himself but i was just being polite and said they were good wich they werent. In my personal opinion its not worth it.
Excellent food, friendly service, special birthday surprise. New favorite Mexican restaurant, will definitely being going back!
I took my mother here for lunch yesterday. Extremely curteous and helpful waitstaff, highly affordable prices, enormous portions, and best of all, very tasty food. I'm going back today to try the Mexican Pizza
