If I could give 10 stars, I would!) This clinic was a true light in my search for a urologist. At 23 weeks pregnant, I was rushed to the ER with severe kidney pain. I was diagnosed with a blocked left kidney due to kidney stones, a urinary tract infection, and sepsis. I had to undergo emergency surgery where a stent was placed. Unfortunately, the hospital where I was treated was out of network for my insurance, so I had to find a new urologist for ongoing care. That’s when I found Dr. Elterman, and it was such a relief. If you’re a new patient, be cautious they may overcharge you. They ask for payment upfront and then say they’ll true it up once your insurance processes (they didn’t). Then call in to ask why my insurance said I owed less and they say OK we’ll mail you a paper check refund. Can’t simply refund your card the difference (of course). Then call in weeks later (don’t bother pressing the billing extension it will never connect you, use the appointment one) because havent received check yet (of course) and they said oh it was maile... read more
