It feels like everyone is sleeping on Elsie’s and I can understand why?! I had an amazing meal here Friday night and thoroughly enjoyed my steak Frits. My husband agreed the best fries on the west coast. Salty and crispy. Steak was like butter, so yummy. My husband had the fish soup, that was filled with silky cod. The buttered bread it came with was magic. Super attentive severs. A very peaceful place. I left very happy and told my friends they’re missing out!

Lovely spot. They did a great job transforming the space. Ordered the soup/salad/bread combo, steak frites, polenta, and apple shortcake. Overall great execution, presentation, and value. Our server was great too!

I was a huge fan of Delirama, my absolute favorite sandwich was the Delirama Mama, so I was sad to hear the owner was going to pivot in a new direction. I only wished there wer... read more

Just had the best steak sandwich of my life here. FINALLY a place makes a steak sando with tender meat you can bite through instead of yanking the meat out of the bread like a dog with a chew toy. The burger was fantastic too. So nicely seasoned, and the bread was so soft and flavorful too. Plus the fries were crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside, and the side salad was fresh and well dressed. This place is soooo good.

I really wanted to continue to love this place after my first excellent experience. I had the perogies, gnocchi, and the 'chef special', a delicious chicken dish that fell right off the bone. The only thing I felt strange was that it was served with a cold biscuit. Most everything was really great, and I took a pastrami sandwich home for lunch the next day that proved to be similarly delicious. (None of those items were available on my second visit, unfortunately.) I messaged the chef and gave feedback about my experience, a... read more
