We have stated at Elphin apartments for many summers in a row. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have recently renovated and the updates are fabulous. I’m honestly surprised about the negative reviews. Those who are complaining about towels and cleaning is not the experience we have had. In fact, it’s the opposite. We have always found management to be friendly and approachable.

If only I could give these scoundrels a 0 star. Worst apartment I have ever been too! Don’t recommend to stay for holiday or temporary stay. To start off with, the staff are disgustingly rude. They charged us $50 for just opening the door at 6:30pm, just so we could go to one of our friend’s room next to us to eat. They also charged us $50 for a missing key, which was a lie because we handed both keys to the reception! Our favourite place to stay in Launceston☀️ The rooms are modern and cosy, beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The spa bath is an absolute highlight. The property is clean, safe, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Can’t wait to return again.

The apartment has been renovated and in and of itself was very good, comfortable and clean. Good location and on-site parking, and within walking distance to the supermarket. However, the biggest issue here is how thin the walls are; you can hear the people in the next apartment talking and even going for a pee. And if, like us, you are in a ground-floor apartment, the noise from above is so loud it's like elephants stomping on your ceiling. Stayed with my family at the apartment last week. The apartment was old and not very clean on arrival. A deposit was required before check-in, but it was not fully refunded because we were told that guests are expected to clean the apartment before leaving. This was never clearly stated in the check-in or check-out instructions. It seems unreasonable to deduct the deposit because the cleaner supposedly needed more time, as cleaning is part of the service provided.
