I saw dr. Elody many, many, years ago. Would never ever recommend her to anyone, even a animal... All she wanted to do was to get you hooked on her prescription pills, so she could get her weekly appointments out you. Had to go see a specialist at Henry Ford Hospital to withdraw the drugs that she prescribed me...
I was her patient for 13 years, for bi-polar disorder. then became stable and got meds from primary care physician for 4 years. Started having trouble again. She and Dr. Hughett (Director of Advanced Councelling) would not even return my calls. Dr. Hughett had treated me inpatient and originally diagnosed me. I no longer have participating insurance, and do not see a therapist, these two doctors turned me away in a crisis! Very uncaring doctors! I even offered to pay cash!! Watch out for them!
She's a highly intelligent doctor who thoroughly understands the medicine she prescribes. She's very easy to talk to and has a very pleasant personality. I've been to many psychiatrists throughout my life and she is, by far, the best.
