We had such a wonderful stay at Elms of Camden. The home is extremely charming and gave us such an authentic colonial experience between the furnishings and the wallpaper-- so much charm. It was beautiful and breakfast was delicious and properly portioned each morning. Gary and James were so friendly and willing to offer recommendations on day outings and sites to see. We had a lovely second floor room. Despite overlooking a busy road, one could hear almost no road noise! The 24-7 access to a small guest refrigerator/freezer, coffee, and tea was a very nice touch. Breakfast was served on the patio, surrounded by greenery, and we were so grateful for their gracious efforts to meet my need for a lactose- and gluten-free meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Elms. James and Gary are excellent hosts and offered several suggestions about what to do in Camden (and we managed to do many of them)! The inn is charming and close to downtown. Breakfast is a highlight and the perfect start to exploring the beautiful area. Our only regret is that we live too far away to visit more often.
