If you like B&Bs and New England charm, treat yourself to a stay at the Elms of Camden. I went with a friend for Christmas by the Sea, and, as my friend said, it was like stepping into a Hallmark Christmas movie. The inn (and its hosts) were charming, the breakfasts were awesome, and the location couldn't have been better. If you are in the area, give it a try. You won't be sorry.
We spent 4 days at The Elms, and had a wonderful time. Our room (Dahlia) was spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable, and the whirlpool bath was great after a long day of exploring. Our hosts were charming, and provided fantastic breakfasts every morning. The location is great, too. Downtown Camden is a short walk away, and easy access to Highway 1 opened the door to great sightseeing along the Maine coast.
If you’re looking for a wonderful experience, the Elms of Camden is the place for you. Gary and James are very accommodating hosts. The breakfasts are delicious, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. We have been visiting The Elms for years and give it our highest recommendation. Joe&Ellen
