my thoughts i find the staff at the health dept as nice as they come. the women at the front window deal with enormous volumes of work and people each day. i have never had a bad experience. i think their hiring practices have greatly improved as i have visited the health dept for years. the anonymous reviewer above complains about appointment making procedures which is certainly beyond the front desk staff's control. their policies i am sure come from much higher up and probably someone in montg. and as far as the person's ... read more
** The staff is HORRIBLE! They will sit around talking to each other for over 30 minutes before helping someone, and God forbid you have to ask them a question, they act like you have ruined their whole day. With the economy the way it is right now and all of the people that need and want jobs, you would think that the county would staff the health department with people that will actually work and be thankful to do their job. Front Desk I am trying to make two appointments. 1 for my daughter who is on Wic and 1 for my birth control! I have tried to call for the past 3 days straight and I keep getting "This line is busy" I think they should hire 1 more person to help with the front desk because this is ridiculous!!!!!
Front Desk Bedside Manner? They only have one person at the desk, answering phones and dealing with us. There is no understanding or comfort from them, they quickly answer a question and then hang up with no goodbyes.
Health Services This care facility needs a drastic upgrade in there staffs condensending relationship with the clients. The speed, with which the cases are handled in closer to caveman times than modern day computer ran businesses. The medical staff, are excellent, care givers and move as fast as the front staff will send in patients.
