Really honest guy and that's the thing we needed when our Camry transmission went out. He rebuilt it and it feels like new again and his price was right in the middle of some other shops we had talked to. Yes, Elmer's shop is very, very good. Highly recommend him.
Elmer completely rebuilt my transmission and more than 3 years later and over 30,000 miles it's still running strong. Excellent customer service, he makes you feel right at home.
Elmer was the lowest price around and offered very friendly fast service. After the rebuild the transmission felt great! It shifted very nicely and we took it on a four hour trip to Pismo Beach and then into the sand with no problems. The truck has since pulled trailers all across the west coast with no problems.
