The Elmere House is special! The rooms are great, breakfast fantastic and grounds the best. The gardens, outside accommodations, fountains, bird houses….amazing. The location is in Wells…and very close to Ogunquit. To top it off, the hosts Michael and Bill are wonderful …friendly and so helpful. I would give 10 stars if I could and we will definitely be back! (Additionally, this is one of the few B and B’s that is truly accessible if needed.)

This place is amazing. It is very clean and the hosts are awesome. The food for breakfast is amazing and there is no shortage of it. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay in the area. We will definitely be going back to visit.

Stayed here for a long weekend in the fall. The property is beautiful and well-kept inside and out. The location is convenient and the breakfast is delicious. The hosts Michael & Bill (and their adorable dog Bentley) were the highlight of the stay. They are so kind and accommodating. We requested to have breakfast made dairy-free and they went above and beyond to make sure the food was safe for us to eat. Would definitely stay again!

Elmere house Bnb perfect place and stay for Maine in early fall. The proprietors Mike and Bill can't do enough to make you feel like visiting family and they are your favorite cousins. Bill mostly handles the DEE Lish breakfasts (highlight of waking up) and Michael serves and provides the lighthearted conversation. The building is rustic and brightly painted w a front yard w lawn furniture and a gas firepit. The porch is great for an afternoon cocktail(Byob) which Bill came by and talked of history of their beginnings Rooms ... read more
