The Elmere House Bed & Breakfast is centrally located to all that southern Maine has to offer in the Moody section of Wells Maine. We are five minutes north of the Ogunquit village and 7 miles south of Kennebunkport, Maine. Shopping as well as fine and casual dining begin a block away and continue on for miles. The Moody, North Ogunquit and Foot Bridge beaches are all a couple of miles away which is a five-minute car ride, a 20-minute walk or you can take the local trolley there as well. Elmore House B&B is lovely. The gardens are so inviting, the room nicely equipped, and breakfast was delicious - even as they graciously met my need for lactose- and gluten-free options (freshly made gluten-free blueberry pancakes!) The proprietors were very welcoming and helpful. While there isn't too much right where the B&B is located, it's a super-fast trip to Olgunquin and very convenient for continuing our journey farther north. Elmere house is a beautiful B&B. Michael is such a kind soul and spreads kindness as he serves breakfast in the morning. Bill is an amazing chef and hands down the best breakfast we have had on our Maine vacation. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely choose Elmere house, if we make it back to the area.
Back from another fabulous few days at Elemere House in Wells, Maine. Wish we could have stayed another few days because our experience was amazing! Hosts Bill and Mike, owners, take exceptional care of their guests. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with luxurious linens and the small things you might need. The breakfasts!
