I have visited many Senior Living communities. My Mum was in Assisted Living before she passed and my Dad was in a Memory Care Community before he passed a couple of months ago. I understand the emotions and stress of selecting the best Community. Elmcroft is a special place. The caring and teamwork allow the residents to have a more fulfilled and safe lifestyle. I feel like some people in this place are prejudiced from the time I went in there although it’s a beautiful place !!! I don’t see how I was denied a job for a traffic ticket I feel Like the lady didn’t want me working there I’ve worked in plenty of assisted living and medical Assistant and too mention o so called had too wait for 30 plus days for them too just tell me that and kept trying too get me too work in a kitchen !!!! Something I never ever went through with a job in my life !!!!
I was impressed by the Management and Staff. Everyone was warm and kind to my Father. The facility is clean and well kept. I highly recommend Elmcroft as a beautiful respite for your family member!
This occurred in 2018, so hopefully things have changed. My father's dementia was declining and I was told by his independent living facility and his doctor that he would need to be placed in memory care. I contacted Elmcroft Sagamore Hills and explained his situation and that he was on limited fixed income. The "saleswoman" for lack of better term, said they could accommodate us, place him in an assisted living room and then transfer him to a shared room in Memory care when a bed opens up to keep the cost the same.
