JVM property has a number of "buried" addendums in an attempt to mislead residents and more than a few times this ends up being additional fees service charges. These monthly payments are never explained to residents when they are looking to lease. They have more than a half dozen additional fees that end up costing in excess of an additional couple hundred dollars a month. Parking is an obvious additional fee but $120 per month is a bit much for Des Plaines.
My husband and I lived at Ellison for 4 or so years and really enjoyed our time there. Our time was split between a 1 bdrm with den and then a 2 bdrm. New management took over during our last year at Ellison, which seemed like a smooth transition. The building is beautiful and well maintained and comes with great amenities, including a fantastic gym. We are extremely happy & satisfied at having chosen Ellison as our new home. Professional staff, secure building & location with good access. Jessica patiently helped us complete the application & onboarding procedure in just two days & addressed all our queries. Well maintained & neat amenities & surroundings. We lived at the Ellison Apartments for almost 2 years and had a great experience. Jessica Munoz was an outstanding manager. Always professional, responsive, and genuinely cared about the residents. She made the community feel like home Paul from maintenance was also fantastic - quick to respond, knowledgeable, and always friendly. He kept everything running smoothly and was a pleasure to deal with.
