Jessica, our assistant manager, is "up and beyond" in every way. She is always pleasant and helpful in dealing with every problem or request. She adds to all the amenities of Ellison.
JVM property has a number of "buried" addendums in an attempt to mislead residents and more than a few times this ends up being additional fees service charges. These monthly payments are never explained to residents when they are looking to lease. They have more than a half dozen additional fees that end up costing in excess of an additional couple hundred dollars a month. Parking is an obvious additional fee but $120 per month is a bit much for Des Plaines.
My husband and I lived at Ellison for 4 or so years and really enjoyed our time there. Our time was split between a 1 bdrm with den and then a 2 bdrm. New management took over during our last year at Ellison, which seemed like a smooth transition. The building is beautiful and well maintained and comes with great amenities, including a fantastic gym.
