I had my transmission rebuilt which had a 6 month warranty. My transmission went out less than 2 months out of warranty, so I had my vehicle towed in to be checked out and to see what the company is willing to do to help me out. To have my vehicle towed 1 direction (less than 25 miles away), I was charged $100.00. For him to look at my transmission I was charged $150.00 and to rebuild my transmission once again I was going to be charged $1700.00 (the same amount that I was charged less than 8 months earlier).
