During my consultation, they did not seem very knowledgeable in regard to Ch. 13 bankruptcy. I was purposely told inaccurate information such as if I file, there may be a possibility debts would not be on an “automatic stay.” That is completely false information. This is just one example of what was said during my appointment. I would avoid them and choose a more reliable place regarding legal matters.
My girlfriend and I met with DJ, the student loan attorney after making an appointment. We gladly paid the consultation fee. We basically just wanted to learn what her rights would be as a borrower before collections became an immediate threat. He basically rushed us through it and gave us nothing tangible to go on. We had nothing for written reference and after advising us to send everything by certified mail, only for it to bounce back, we are back at square one. Avoid these people.
Stole my money did nothing for the money paid then dropped me and canceled my case. Ethics and Morales non existent. Avoid at all costs.
