They did my taxes for a number of years, and seemed ok. I just recently got a letter from my county saying they didn’t receive necessary forms that should have been filed for a few consecutive years. Last year they did my taxes and filed them incorrectly. My wife ended up filing them correctly. When I finally reached them on the phone to fix the situation they informed me that tax laws had changed and they weren’t exactly sure what the IRS needed filed. I had been impressed with the work that Ellis Lee Hostetter & Co did for me until today. I tried to get my taxes prepared but because I didn't use their services last year, I was suddenly considered a new client and they refused to accept me. I have been with them several years prior, decided to try to file my own taxes last year, and am needing someone this year so I thought I'd go back but suddenly I am considered a new client. Looks like they have lost the customer service touch.
