We had several trees fall down during a storm and damage another tree. I called Ellis Hardwood because a friend recommended them and I saw a lot of recommendations for them in a local facebook group. Matt picked up immediately when I called and happened to be coming to my area to look at a tree in someone else’s yard. I contacted Matt requesting a quote for tree removal. He responded quickly. I was not at home when he came to look at the job. He used FaceTime and provided a quote that day. I am extremely pleased with the work completed by his crew. They were professional, polite and competent. The team work was impressive. They all took responsibility of safely removing the tree. I highly recommend Ellis Hardwoods for any tree work you need.
5 stars A+ A+ excellent all around. The tree was very large and very close to the garage and power lines. After contacting NIPSCO 4 times at the request of the previous contractor I chose and getting no responses I attempted to reach out to the Mayor of Laporte and within an hour was provided Matt’s contact.
