We entered a T&M contract with Ellis Bros.Construction for a 100K job in Portola Valley (they do business in other areas than Redding). They were paid generously throughout the time they worked here: even as they ran over their original budget with more than 25% (not including the owner's change orders). Nevertheless, halfway into the project they left the job site without warning (while we were on business travel in Europe). Ellis Bros Construction just finished replacing our deck, which is 12' X 110', and all the windows in the polygon. We were getting a VA loan and had to have the appraisal redone. When the appraiser arrived, the comment was "WOW!!! What a transformation!!" The contractors are so meticulous and every thing they did was so precise. We are absolutely thrilled with the way everything turned out. We would recommend them to anyone wanting their work done by perfectionists.
