Horrible experience with one of the older ultrasound techs. Absolutely atrocious bedside manner. So happy I never have to go back.
Was referred by my OB after inconclusive bloodwork. Genetic counselor Jennifer Tansey was wonderful and so comforting to talk to. She was extremely knowledgeable and fielded my husband's very pragmatic questions while also making sure that I wasn't getting freaked out. Great experience!
Very expensive for a dating scan and Dr. Jean C Hostage has very bad bedside manners. She laughed when I had a missed miscarriage and suggested I get an abortion at Planned Parenthood.
The level and quality of care I received here compared to my typical experiences at doctors offices (especially OB/Gyn care) was night and day. The care I received at MFM at Elliot was patient-centric, compassionate, and trauma-informed. We started with a genetics counselor in a private room with a couch and chairs (and tissues). She walked us through what the OB had sent us in for and answered all my questions. Dr Jean Hostage was amazing with me. I was terrified for my cerclage surgery and she was able to save my cervix and help me get to hopefully full term! Her bed side manner was phenomenal! She truly cared and listened! DEB S, the nurse was also truly amazing. I couldn’t have done it without them.
