I had my one-week post-op today. I had an explant with full capsulectomy, no lift. The surgery took place at the beautiful hospital of Providence Cedar Sinai in the Valley. The surgery was covered by insurance due to pain and encapsulation. To say that Dr Hirsch exceeded my expectations would be a huge understatement. What he did was a miracle. This was one of the worst medical office experiences I’ve ever had. The front office, specifically Cassandra, was extremely unprofessional, disrespectful, and dismissive. The tone from the moment I interacted with the office felt hostile and unwelcoming. Communication was poor, and basic professionalism was completely lacking. They require a $200 upfront “cancellation fee” deposit, which you only get back if you show up to your appointment. Superb. I had them close some existing holes in my earlobe from plugs I had over 30 years ago. Hirsch and his office did an excellent job. Holes are closed up and the incision is gone. Looks great. I was not looking forward to traveling out of state for this explant procedure, but Dr. Hirsch and his team have been incredible. I was taken care of during consults, email questions, travel arrangements, and most importantly- during the procedure and with post-op care.
