I read all the advertisement and moved here myself 5 yrs ago. Yes, it is a beautiful town and looks like a great place to live. However, there are factors no one tells you about until you get here and find out for yourself that things aren't what they seem. Please Google uranium contamination in Elliot Lake. Nobody looks out for hoarders, my mother lives in one of these nice houses. Turned it into a dog poop pee house, plus hoarding junk piles high. They DONT CARE
I contacted ELRL to request a transfer to a house because my apartment was a little too small and a man called me and instead of just explaining things to me, he was rude and hostile and very disrespectful. I would urge people not to move here.
