Not what we expected ~ I was so excited to come to Ellie’s! Friends shared that it was awesome and the online reviews and photos looked so yummy!! Unfortunately, this was very disappointing for the price. The food was extremely overpriced for what we received, and the quality was very lackluster and bland. Nothing we ordered felt special or like something I couldn’t have easily made at home without much effort. The atmosphere was also very dull and didn’t add anything to the experience. This has become one of those places our whole family can count on. My wife, kids, and I can all consistently find something we like here. I’m a fan of the veggie pita, but one of my favorite things is the fries. They’re handmade, fresh, a little addictive. It’s a small, casual mom and pop kind of place, nothing real fancy, just good food in a relaxed atmosphere.
