Ellen's has been bought by a big out of state corporation and had a complete turnover of staff. Not good to say the least. The latest glowing reviews appear to be fake. Go elsewhere.
After having my grandmother in several different facilities, my mother finally found a place with a genuinely caring staff. My grandmother is happy and cared for, which in turn eases my mother's anxiety at having her mother in a place other than home. I am truly thankful for the angels that walk amongst the residents!
Such a great asmosphere! The directors are incredible people. It’s a very homey feel and very welcoming. The care staff is super attentive and seem like they enjoy what they are doing! Great place to have your family members!
Ellen's Home is known as the gold standard in our community. The staff here are exceptional. It is true that the facility was sold recently and there have been many changes. One thing that has not changed is the commitment of the staff to the residents. There are morning and afternoon activities that most participate in. This could include exercises, crafting and music concerts. They have updated their food service and have provided extra snacks during the day.
