I came to Dr. Emerson with, among other issues, a really strong case of Iatrophobia, which is a fear of doctors and medical situations. I went nearly nine years without a PCP or going to a walk-in clinic out of anxiety. I was even too scared to go to the dentist sometimes. I don't know if she was going through something personally, but she came off as very judgmental of my situation. At one point she got frustrated with me. Which is not what anyone is looking for in a therapist. The billing was a complete mess. They charged me more every time I went because I got incorrectly charged the first time. Not going back...and wouldn't recommend.
