Ellen provides a safe place to confront complicated Truths. In spite of being frustrated by not having answers to some of life’s difficult questions, I am in awe with the process of discovery and more comfortable with the knowledge the answers will come when I am ready to receive them. Life is full of surprises – some of them not so great – and thanks to time spent with Ellen, I have been better able to navigate the not so good ones and even be grateful for the lessons they bring.

My wife and I have both had individual counselling with Ellen and have been very pleased with her. She is compassionate, pleasant, easy to talk to and, perhaps most significant, she is very insightful. Her assistance has been vital in helping both of us work through some of the challenges of life. When deciding to write a review I noticed a previous review that was unsatisfactory for reasons having to do with her rates and, what I assume to be a misunderstanding with regards to an appointment.. I had the pleasure of working with Ellen for over 15 years before I moved out of state. Ellen is an amazingly compassionate human being with a keen insight into people and relationships. She brings a wealth of personal life experience to her sessions and has a passion for helping people heal and grow. I have learned so much from this woman. She has a way about her, a calming affect, a warmth. The tools that she has given me have helped me wade through every relationship in my life, parenthood, even nursing school. I consider her a mentor, a coach, and a treasure. I feel lighter after every visit.
