5 years ago, I bought a $100 guitar in a junk store and spent a year trying to teach myself how to play it by watching YouTube videos. I wish I could say that I discovered I had a God-given gift for music and went on to headline at the Ryman several years later, but alas, that did not come to pass. Ellen has helped me fall in love with guitar! She is not only a gifted player, she is a gifted TEACHER. She will customize your lesson to be just challenging enough that you're definitely learning, but not so hard that you get frustrated. After only a few months, I've already improved so much. I would recommend Ellen to any player at any level. Definitely worth the money!
