My mom, dad, and I were planning on hitting up Gingerbread House/Lappert’s in Pine when we were driving back to Phoenix from paddle boarding in Winslow, and were were bummed to see they had a closed sign out on the fence. It was 3pm on a Friday in early October! Why were they closed?? Anyway, we proceeded to drive down the road and see if there was any other ice cream spot in Pine. Paid almost $7 for a normal size swirl soft serve in a cake cone. Almost fell over when she told us the total. I think that’s really expensive for that it was.
Cute, rustic gift shop.
I saw a sign out front that said elk hot dogs and I knew we had to stop and try one. We ate it Chicago style and it was so delicious!
