We first contacted ElkStone in December 2025 for our basement finishing project. We had a few hurdles: a strict budget, an older home built in 1975, and we live about an hour from the Metro Denver area in Kiowa, Colorado. Several other companies had already turned us down due to our location, but ElkStone was eager to help. Elkstone did a great job of making upgrades to our newly constructed home in Red Rocks Ranch, as well as finishing our walkout basement. David Scott was our project manager and he did an excellent job of keeping both projects on track and also making us aware of any change orders far in advance of the work being completed. If he thought we were unhappy with anything, he went out of his way to make it right.
Their work is truly amazing. From start to finish, the organization, the communication, and the focus on quality was very appreciated. Paula was a wonderful project manager and communicated effectively and efficiently as we went through the process. Basement finish - We had an excellent experience with Elkstone. We especially appreciated our project manager, Todd, who stayed on top of everything and kept us informed about upcoming schedules and deadlines. The entire team did a very professional job, and we couldn’t be happier with our new basement.
