The staff is super friendly and treats the animals well.
Last Friday night my 11 year old dog had an injury on the top of her head. I brought her in at 8am Saturday without an appointment and without calling ahead. The staff and Dr. Bessmer worked her into the schedule and took great care of her. Everyone there genuinely cares for our pets and are so welcoming. We’ve been bringing our pets to Elk Creek Animal Hospital since 2012 and won’t go anywhere else.
I brought in all 3 of my fur babies in at the same time and Elk Creek’s team was amazing & so attentive! I was really impressed with how thorough Dr. Gross was with my cats, Pippin & Leo! Everyone was very kind and patient with my puppy, Freddy, as well. He gets nervous & they all took the time to let him sniff them and gain their trust. I will recommend them over and over again. Thank you guys so much!
I need to say a huge “thank you” to Dr. Kalene Gross and the amazing staff at Elk Creek Animal Hospital! Their sweet end-of-life care for our dearly loved dogs, Snuggles and Sassy, and their compassion for us during this sad time were more than we could have asked for or expected! Thank you!!

Drs. Bessmer and Gross are both wonderful vets who have cared for our dog with the utmost attention to detail and dedication to making sure she receives the best care possible. When people ask me who I recommend, I practically trip over myself gushing about the care we've been given here. So grateful!
Dr Bessemer and his staff did an amazing job helping our dog last night after digesting xylitol which was in chewing gum. It can be deadly if it is not treated immediately. Thanks to the amazing staff Winston is home with us now and back to his old self.
