I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Schmidt inthecER at MUSC. I could see that she had a way of getting things done. I was in ER good 21 hrs without a proper bed or bedding. I don’t think the ER carts are for extended too uncomfortable no way to get comfortable. She noticed how uncomfortable I was and absolutely exhausted. In a little of no time she had assessed me got me areal bed and a little while later after that she got me moved to a room on the heart floor. You see I had that virus and rt and lt pneumonia.. Dr. Elizabeth Schmitt took care of my son when he had acute respiratory failure and nearly died of covid pneumonia. My family's thanks for saving our son's life are not enough. i would trust and recommend Dr. Schmitt for any and all matters.
