Dr. Johnston performed an open inguinal hernia repair for me four weeks ago. I would not hesitate to use her services again. Pre and post-surgical visits were good, she answered all my questions and is very friendly. Prior to this care she was tasked with removing a drain tube from an emergency appendectomy I had to have. She impressed me because there was no messing around, she got me up on the table and started pulling.
Had a hernia surgery with doctor Johnston, after surgery she sent me home without prescribing any medication for pain , anybody that has had this surgery knows how bad the bad the pain is after surgery, I had to endure the pain for days after surgery, she really doesn’t care about her patients , I recommend you find another doctor to do any surgery, she will leave you in a lot of pain
I was told that I was going to get a particular surgery with one incision on one side of my belly and one incision on the other and I came out looking like a stabbing victim not just three but she nicked me I left the fourth wound and thought that I wasn't awake enough to hear her tell the nurse oh no that's just a nick when the nurse asked how many wounds she was supposed to be treating and said there's three and then said and then the doctor answered say oh no that's just a nick when I specifically asked her that I would h... read more
Johnston is an amazing person! She actually listens to what you have to say. I had surgery and she was very kind and understanding. I give her a 10! And would recommend her. Very rare to find someone like her.
Not only is she an excellent surgeon, but she is a great person. What I loved about her most was when she did surgery on my daughter is that she didn't just stand at the door and say everything went fine. She pulled up a chair in front of me and explained the procedure and asked me if I had any questions for concerns. She was so personable it was like talking to a family member. When I had my surgery she was the same way. I love her!!!! and would highly recommend her to others.
