According to UnityPoint Grinnell Regional Medical Center, Dr. Tigges has left their OB/GYN service. No explanation, no relocation. I even looked up her NPI information which lists her in Ottumwa, IA but hasn't been updated since 2013. It seems odd for such a beloved member of the community to vanish.
Dr Tigges is a phenomenal doctor! I was having some health issues and she addressed them professionally, met me at my level in terms of medical language, respected that I know what’s best for my own body, and treated me accordingly with such compassion! I will always highly recommend her for OB or OBGYN services.
My first visit with Dr. Tigges; she and her nurse made me feel much less apprehensive. Have already scheduled my next check up!
