Have stayed at hunter lodge twice in the past ,one week at a time whilst my wife has been at St Vincent hospital. Very covienient to the city, tidy, clean rooms, washing machine available, very friendly staff, Johan does a great job very helpful with your eptas claims. I would have no hesitation in staying there again if needed. I think the $10.00 per night contribution is very fair considering that most people stay for free.
Johan himself the manager managing the place well. He is a person easy to approach when you need assistance or help👍The place is clean and well taking care of. Easy access for taxis and public transport if you don't have a car.I would recommend this lodge to anyone.
I was very grateful to be able to stay at Elizabeth Hunter Lodge while my husband had major heart surgery at St Vincents Hospital. It was a very traumatic time for me. Johan made me feel very welcome and was a wonderful host. The location of the Lodge was wonderful for public transport. Also I was able to go for walks to Waverley, Bronte, and Tamarama & have a swim. The Lodge is set in beautiful gardens and historical hospital grounds. I was able to meet & chat with other clients going through a similar situation. Cheers Pam
Very homely environment, not only for me but for my carers also. It would not have been possible for me to complete all my treatments in comfort if it wasn't for EHL. I absolutely love this place and all the people who come here. Highly recommend. 👌 Kat.💜
