Dr. Giese was absolutely wonderful with my seven-year-old daughter. And mostly because she simply treated her like a human being - addressing her (not me) when she walked in the room, asking age appropriate questions about how she was feeling, and telling her everything she was going to do before she did it. It sounds so obvious but this is rare. It's hard to articulate what it looks and feels like, but it was noticeable and so appreciated.
