I can not thank these ladies enough!! I visited 4 bridal shops whilst looking for a dress. Being a size 16 at the time I was told in 3 of them to only look in a certain section for plus size as wedding dresses run small. Not in Elizabeth George, these ladies made me feel like my size didn't matter (a rare feeling for a women) , I could have whichever dress I fell in love in with. A gorgeous bridal boutique, the ladies are fantastic. Warm, welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and at no point did we feel rushed. We bought my daughter’s wedding dress and the service has been exceptional on every occasion we have returned.
I bought my wedding dress from Elizabeth George last year and had the privilege of wearing my beautiful dress on 20 July 2025, when I got married. When I initially visited Elizabeth George, I went unsure that I would come out with a dress that I loved as I had given birth only 3 months prior. From the minute we walked in the girls were lovely! I had an idea of a dress I wanted so they helped pick out ones that matched my description. I must have tried on 7-8 dresses and they were so patient throughout. In the end I went for something unexpected and they talked me through all the changes they could make to it, including getting the seamstress to come up and explain in more detail as I LOVED this dress and it was ever so slightly too small.
