Wonderful, compassionate physician. She was actually concerned with FIXING my chronic pain issues rather than just tossing medication at them. Compared to others in her specialty, her medication tendencies are very conservative. Although she is no longer my physician, I refer everyone who asks about pain management directly to her. There is just no better option than this first rate physician.
My father died because of her lack of monitoring and care. She was prescribing him the highest dose of oxycontin despite numerous signs - extreme weight loss, blood clots, had oxygen tanks, ordered for him to have a colonoscopy but even when he didn't keep the appointment kept prescribing the highest dose, etc. My mother even called her more than a year before he died asking her to stop prescribing him so much and that he abused the oxycontin.
