On 2024-09-24 I received an automated quote for $14K for a re-roof. On 2024-09-27 I then received the true quote for $28K plus $300 per solar panel for removal. With 50 panels that is $15K. Other roofing companies quote $5K to $6K for this. Extortion.
I called E2 roofing for a discussion on their services on 27 Nov 23 to consider their services and requesting to lower their down payment requirement to $0 since I was paying cash. Casey and then roofing director Heather acted like I was asking for their first born. After an unproductive and condescending conversation with Heather, I declined to schedule an appointment since they insisted on 30% down. With every job, we incur an upfront cost for permits, dumpsters, and materials, which is why we require a down payment from our customers. When we concluded our call, I wished you nothing but the best in finding a solution and apologized that we were not the right fit for your company. Again, I will do the same and apologize that we are not the right fit for you and wish you nothing but the best.
Do not rely on this company for communication or project management. Our 2 week bathroom renovation turned into 3 months due to lack of planning, failed inspections (3 failed), incorrect parts being orders and many other reasons. You will constantly be assured that we will take care of it and then be presented with a change order months later increasing the cost of the project by over 10%, without ever hearing a word about a change order or increase in cost.
