I don’t know why there’s so many negative reviews because my experience wasn’t anything like what others have experienced. I loved every moment of my appointment. The ultrasound tech and I had a little bit of a hard time communicating to each other but we both had patience with each other and she didn’t get upset when I couldn’t understand her, she just kept trying and we made it work but she was an absolute sweetheart. We went to her as an MFM consult after finding growth restriction @ 20wk. She came in with little information about our case, asked a few questions and stated the fetus was 240grams at 20wks and won't likely get to viability. Although this is statistically true, her bedside manner was horrible. She explained the placental issue fine but really tiptoed around stillborn risk etc. We left thinking 100% we would lose our baby because she said it usually gets worse after two weeks. This is my second pregnancy as a type 1 diabetic and this has by far been the best care I’ve received. Erin met with me for my diabetes management regularly, always made me feel heard, never judged, encouraged me and was always there to respond asap to any need I had. Every concern I had was taken seriously and addressed, never brushed off. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!
Erin McCartney works with patients with gestational diabetes. She saw me through my diagnosis and treatment during my pregnancy, checked in on me while I was in the hospital after giving birth and has continued care during my postpartum period. I have never in my life been so impressed by a medical professional. She truly cares for her patients and it shows. I can’t thank her enough for her compassion during this incredibly difficult time in my life!
