They charged my card without authorization. The facility itself has poor air ventilation, the drinking water is warm, and the place doesn't look as clean as a fitness club should be. I thought when I signed up it was just a fluke that the place was uncomfortable since we were experiencing some pretty hot weather. But unfortunately the place continued to disappoint. Overall, I've had a very poor experience. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO JOIN THIS CLUB.

Elite Fitness has 8 consumer complaints filed with the Ohio General Attorney's Office. They have 28 civil cases reported with the Chardon Municipal Court, both as plaintiff and defendant. The gym is dirty, and unless you are willing to pay $40 an hour for personal training, you are on your own in terms of getting any help in using any of the machinery or equipment. I agree 100% with the other two reviews. My husband and I have had a horrible experience with this gym. Despite actually moving over 20 miles away from the gym, they wouldn't honor what our contract said regarding relocation, claiming it had to be measured "as the bird flies". This is after an employee at the gym actually told me to my face that we COULD cancel. The entire situation is completely irrational. Who drives over 20 miles out of the way for a gym?
