Dave put us on so many fish! My buddy and I go on a trip every year this was the best float we’ve ever had! Dave had us set up for success all day. At times we’d look around and no other boats had action and we were constantly on the fish! Couldn’t be happier with the experience.
Dave’s wealth of fly fishing knowledge will put a client on fish all day and adjust to the bite as conditions change. I learned so much from him. Over 40 in the net and an equal number of misses. I’ll be back for sure.
Dave is an excellent guide with amazing eyes. Caught a lot of fish and helped me out the following day with spots to wade fish. My son caught his PB.
First time using a guide service to fish the San Juan & it couldn’t have gone any better. Dave was awesome! Very knowledgeable guide & will get you hooked up to some fish. Highly recommend Dave. Will definitely be using him for any future float trips!
First I’d like to say Dave is a first class act. He has years of experience fishing and guiding on the San Juan river. This is something that set Dave apart from the others. Something I noticed was he commanded the respect of the other guides on the river. He knows how to get you catching a lot of quality trout and is also an excellent instructor.
