Zero stars if I could. Extremely disappointed with Elite Equine Veterinary Services. We contacted them about our baby filly having eye issues that we believed could be conjunctivitis and were placed on a wait list. We were told it wasn’t an emergency and to wait, instead of being advised early on to seek more specialized care. After sending photos, we were told they could come out and see her. When they arrived, they did not perform any assessment. No vitals were taken, no exam was done, and they did not touch her once. They... read more
Simon is the vet I use, and I'm very happy with him, I've had lameness issues with 3 horses, and he's been very knowledgeable.
I have been using Elite Equine for about 15 years or so and I love them. I will say though- I have always preferred to see Dr. Potter because my horse is pretty much number one in my life, and Dr. Potter is the absolute best when it comes to making sure my horse moves comfortably and is feeling his absolute best. Cue to Dr. Brock. I know I read reviews before I gave them a call for my 31 yr old horse with a sore on his sheath. Turned out it needed to be removed. With all the care and attention she could give I was very happy with our surgery. I know things can turn south in some circumstances and she prepared me along the way of the cautions and precautions. Everything went well. No vet can heal all things that happen or fix everything. I have lost pets before under the careful care. Things happen. I am happy that was not the case today.
