Host the safest events
If you do plan a trip, purchase trip insurance. We were not made aware of this option until we reached out about weather related issues the day before in an attempt to recoup some of the money we paid. We couldn't make it because of flight cancellations and road closures. No money was refunded and when the hotel was called daily we were told that staff was occupying our room.
