UPDATE - 12/3/25 Well, I had quite a year. My rear differential died earlier this year. Phil was able to replace it with a used one which came from out-of-state. I checked the price of three used parts. Phil charged me at cost, plus transportation charges (honest). I raced cars as a kid. I rebuilt engines, transmissions, etc.in my day, but these newer cars are ridiculous to work on. Phil did a great job. I've gone 8k miles with no problems. We were driving to visit Family the day before Thanksgiving when we noticed we had a low tire. We ended up at Elite Car care and they took care of us super fast. Highly recommend.
We have an almost 15-year-old car that my daughter drives, that has suddenly decided it sometimes doesn't like to start. Phil could have sold us on replacing plenty of possibly unnnecessary and expensive parts, but he wisely stuck to just replacing the battery (which needed replacing anyway), and seeing if that fixes the problem. Hopefully so, but no matter what, there was an extra bonus: he pulled out a dent in the bumper that has been there for years - at no charge!
