Before driving down I wanted to make sure I wasn't wasting my time so I had the seller take it to Elite AutoHaus for a pre-purchase inspection. Despite (1) Airmatic problems being among the most common and expensive repairs on mid to late 2000s Mercedes and (2) me specifically asking about the Airmatic system, Elite failed to diagnose the passenger right Airmatic strut leaking (a $1000 repair).
