Started out in 1954, Yala's Pizza was originally owned by the Talloni family. It was a family owned and operated pizzeria that was loved by many in Lorain, Ohio. In 1976 Eliseo DeSantis started up his own pizzeria named after himself, Eliseo's Pizza. In 1989, the Talloni family felt it time to retire and that the company would be handled best by his family friends, the DeSantis' as both families hailed from Ascoli Piceno, Italy. Great pizza, super cheesy if you get extra cheese. ( dont order online 30% more, call only) So so cheesy. Very tasty as well. I recommend Frans pizza. Good local spot.
Pizza wasn't like it used to be. It was cooked a little hard, didn't taste fresh and definitely didn't have that Frans twang! I'm not understanding what was going on with the crust🤦Management is never willing to work with you when you have a problem. The pizza is expensive and should be made to be compatible with the price! I'm looking for a new pizza spot! Any ideas?
