Started out in 1954, Yala's Pizza was originally owned by the Talloni family. It was a family owned and operated pizzeria that was loved by many in Lorain, Ohio. In 1976 Eliseo DeSantis started up his own pizzeria named after himself, Eliseo's Pizza. In 1989, the Talloni family felt it time to retire and that the company would be handled best by his family friends, the DeSantis' as both families hailed from Ascoli Piceno, Italy.
