Good Neighborhood Store Every time I go to Eliot Small Engine (or Eliot Agway) I know I am going to get straight up advice and friendly service.Staff is very caring & knowledgable - whether its about pet care, bird seed, fertilizer or what's wrong with my mower - and I feel like a valued customer.They stock a wide range of products; I'm always finding something I need. Mouthy I brought a cub cadet rider there to be fixed, the drive didn't work, I told them it may be the hydro filter, and to have them change it, someone overheard me and said "Changing the hydro filter won't make it run!" So I took it to boston lawn mower, and for twenty dollars, they changed the filter and it runs mint. I am not sure if they think just because they demoralize you will come back or what their mindset is, the staff treats you like your'e bothering them not to mention outrageous prices.
Elliots provides great service at reasonable prices I have been going to Elliots small engine for 2 years. They have repaired my 2 lawn tractors, two chairs and several lawn mowers. I have a few properties and a lot of grass and woods to keep clean. They do an exceptional job. They have a lot of expertise, they are reasonable, give lots of attension and are a very nice family business to do do business with. In every case the bill was below the estimate.I would highly reccomend them
total rip off sent in a saw for simple work, staff makes you feel stupid if you ask question's, when i got my saw back the bill was more then the saw was worth. and staff thought it was all a big joke. All-so paid several hundred dollars more for a tractor from them, thought that the service would great, and good labor rate for the higher price of the tractor only to be disappointed in the service and prices
Hardware Store-Garden Very helpful staff, friendly. Able to help with all needs, make special orders or let you know where something can be found if they do not carry it. Homey feeling.
