My son is a special needs Kiddo with an extensive medical history and Dr Owens has taken him under his care showing a vast knowledge base of Seizures and treatment plans. He is kind, gentle and I never feel rush. As a Mom and Nurse, I have worked with many Doctors and Dr Owens is 5 Star all the way!!

He is quick and thorough- I like the speed we get in out without being in a doctors office all day. He listens and I always write down what I need to discuss with him and he listens to my questions and is very honest. I appreciate him for all he is doing to help me. I’ve never had a bad interaction with him. He is friendly yet professional and I appreciate his kindness. Thank you Dr. Owens.

It lists him as someone to see for epilepsy on here, but he’s NOT. If you have epilepsy, don’t see him. He literally advised me not to & to instead see the specialists in Charleston. He had a very ugly attitude & wouldn’t listen to anything I was saying. His exact words were, “This is what your life is going to be now & it won’t get any better than this.” He rushed the appointment. I was in & out in less than 10 minutes.

I’ve had migraines for 53 years, since I was a teenager. Dr Owens is the first doctor that I feel has truly helped my situation! I am finally getting relief!! Also, as of recent, am experiencing post-concussion headaches. All of my issues were addressed very professionally! I’m thankful that Dr. Owens is my neurologist.

Horrific! He does not listen at all! He misdiagnosed me which was proven with a second opinion with a competent neurologist. I knew Owen's was wrong and not listening. Thank God I had the sense to get a second opinion. It saved my life! Do not trust Owens and his staff is as welcoming as rattle snakes! Very unprofessional, undereducated and lazy. Dr. Owens has always been one of the BEST neurologist I’ve been treated by. He has provided top notch care I’ve been treated by several neurologist and he is one of the best. Always very caring, listens to what’s going on, bedside manner is excellent also.

Great doctor! Finally, a doctor who's not only intelligent but NICE too. Not only did he listen to my problems he answered my questions and ordered the appropriate test to rule out any potential issues. THANKS for making a difference. Shining example of how all doctors should strive to be.

Pleasant and easy to talk to. He diagnosed my condition and started me on a treatment plan that helped alleviate the issues I was having. He was very knowledgeable, attentive and explained things so that it was easy to understand. Wish more doctors were like him! Staff was friendly and helpful.

Terrible experience! He does not listen to the patients and does not review records before meeting with patient. Upon speaking with me after several visits, he acted as though he knew nothing about my condition. Upon confronting him about my condition and questioning the care I was (not) receiving, he called me a liar. Patients are the best way for physicians to know what is going on with their body, listen to them!
