John is an honest man of integrity. Rare enough in human beings, an incredible find in a mechanic. He will always tell you your vehicle is a POS and probably going to die at any minute. He will then go on to spend the next years helping you keep the thing running. Honest and more than fair in his pricing, he specializes in Hondas and hopeless cases. Like me.
I had my car break down on I-70 on a Friday afternoon while on vacation in Colorado and John Elias fit me into his schedule. He didn't have access to a part he needed so he put an overnight order in from Denver. His shop isn't usually open on Saturdays but he came in and finished my car up and got me back to my vacation. There was no gouging on price. It's about the same as I would have expected from a shop I trust back home. He kept me informed about the problems and options I had to fix them.
My friend's car lost power on the way up I70. Eli was super helpful, really knowledgeable, and got her right in and got us on our way. Highly recommend!
