Dr Elias Kassapidis is an excellent (Knee) Orthopedic MD. He is very compassionate and knowledgeable. He has been my knee MD since 2012. He has a wonderful medical team of NP and Nurses. They are very skillfull and responsive to their patients and show compassion.
My relative went here as a recommendation from their primary Dr. Such miscommunication! An appointment was made at the Astoria office but was wrongly made in the Manhattan office. Relative went out of their way twice. Appointment was rescheduled at the Astoria office which they did not have a record of when relative went there. They had the nerve to say they don’t accept her insurance. Who doesn’t take Medicare Blue Cross Blue shield? 10 days I waited for an appointment, blew my only day off to say they don’t accept my insurance after accepting the appointment and saying they do accept the insurance. Simple text or email would have been cute. They’re sending out scam calls like it’s 1999 Lost $300 today, plus another week to find a new doctor
Title: Lack of Follow-Up on Diagnostic Tests I recently completed X-ray and MRI tests at this facility as advised by my healthcare provider due to ongoing pain. However, despite completing the 4/5 tests weeks ago, I have not received any follow-up communication from the office regarding the results or next steps for my care. I took my dad to Dr. Kassapidis for years for knee gel injections and cortisone shots. He was a great help and always very nice to us. The girls in the office were also very helpful and nice. I sent my husband there when he damaged the meniscus in his knee. I plan on taking my mom there soon.
