Food was not very good and service could have been better . It’s a neighborhood place but it has the potential to do better but they a have a way to go . Other Italian places nearby are their competition. I wish the owner the best of luck.
Stopped by for their 3-course lunch prix fixe, which is only $30—a pretty good deal for NYC. Overall, the food was decent, though I found some of the dishes a bit salty for my taste. Out of everything my friends and I ordered, the calamari was definitely the standout. The service was friendly and attentive, which made for a pleasant dining experience.
First thing, the food tasted great and the wait staff was fantastic and very gracious. We came after the World Cup finals due to such fantastic reviews and since we have a family member in the neighborhood. But the wait was surprisingly very, very long. An amazingly perfect human sized restaurant. Named after his daughter Elias, the owner Elez Bucaj, and his lovely staff checked in on me and my daughter just enough times to make sure everything was to our liking. And it was, including the black ink sauced pasta topped with the freshest bounciest shrimp. Dinner was perfectly concluded with smooth home made ricotta cheese cake...on the house. What a little find right up the block from the iconic River Club.
