Absolute scam. My insurance paid and these people went ahead and sent me to collections based off of whatever information they stole from Northwestern. If you “call” them, you get a call back of someone asking “who are you trying to contact?” from overseas. I had good credit - I’m angry enough to contact an Attorney. They used to have a website (where they took advantage of me post OP) but now the website goes to MAYO Clinic. BBB please take note of these scammers.
This is a scam, don't go there. my son had his annual physical blood work done there August 2023. His insurance company made the full payment on September 2023. They still send his a bill nearly $300. Unknowning his responsibility, first year on his own health insurance as he turned 26, made the full payment. He has been calling them many times trying to get the refund and has no success. never go there again.
This is a scam, and I believe they got my info from a NW medicine data breach. The first clue was their automated text had a link to pay my bill on site with a .io (Indian Ocean) server address. It is impossible to reach them by phone unless you request a call back - which you promptly receive from a similar (but different) number: 603 area code instead of the “business” 630 area code. This is a well contrived scam, so beware!
Elgin Lab Physicians was a lab company used by the hospital I was in from 11/05/2020 through 11/13/2020. The hospital was in network but Elgin Lab Physicians sent me a bill for $2,323.14. Never have I ever received a bill from them yet suddenly I am being called by creditors. this has happened numerous times in the past. my insurance company Always shows that they have paid and my portion is zero. I am not sure why this repeatedly happens. Even with this on my credit report I still score above 800. I clearly pay my bills. I am sick of it and believe they are possibly predatory. I would give no stars. but it doesnt allow that
