She used to be my PCP and I'm really glad she's my ex PCP. My right ankle was swollen and she said the cause was excessive intake of water. Luckily I found a physician who's more qualified to practice medicine than Dr Schlentz DO (Seen at Access, Chicago)

(Seen at ACCESS in Chicago) I was hoping to get a medical opinion/diagnosis but at least I got a dermatologist referral out of my 1st visit. With this practitioner. No manners, blew in and prattled on about her luxury shampoo (seriously) and she seemed to have less training than I do (RN). No insight, no respect, just typing what I said in the chart, and talking about 100 miles a minute saying nothing of import. Incompetent, scamming the insurance with useless tests and shots. her staff lost my paperwork 3 times. had to wait 3 months for a referral and finally got it myself form the insurance company. They will force you to come back for everything just so they can charge the insurance. She should not be in business of providing care as the only thing she will provide you with is headache.

I saw this doctor in Chicago, not Elgin, but had the same experience. She is incompetent with horrible bedside manner. Her office refused to provide me with health records when requested. My opinion is that she is a glorified middleman for specialists and can provide nothing of value on her own.
